The current priority for the Benevolent Fund is to support young, disadvantaged people through education and skills, primarily in London, to enable them to succeed in life. Further information can be found on our Charities & Donations page. 

The Benevolent Fund receives many appeals for charitable donations, which are carefully considered. We try to reply to each request, even if we cannot help because the charity’s activities are outside our current priorities.

If the charity’s work accords with our strategy, the appeal is considered by our Education and Charity Committee. The Committee may then decide to award a one-off donation or a three-year grant. The Education and Charity Committee meetings take place quarterly.
